PERCUSSION-ROTARY drill rods
Technodrill Percussion-Rotary drill rods are manufactured from high quality cold drawn seamless steel tubes with case hardened end pieces. In small dimensions (70 & 60mm) end pieces are from ultimate quality heat treated alloy steel.
A unique method has been specially developed by Technodrill to achieve the strong bond between the end pieces and the main tube. It is a combination of technical processes (induction shrink-fitting, welding with high quality special welding electrodes etc) that guarantee concentricity between the tube and the end pieces and provide drill rods extremely durable and resistant to wear.
The thinner walls of the main tubes compared to the strengthen walls of the end pieces make the drill rods lighter and easier to handle.
The tapered (conical), API type, threads are strong, transmit high torque and allow fast and easy coupling and uncoupling.
Suitable for DTH hammer applications, water well drilling and rotary drilling.
All percussion-rotary drill rods are provided with wrench flats on both ends.
Available in sizes 140, 114, 89, 76, 70 & 60mm.

The standard effective lengths are 3.0 & 1.5 meters. Other lengths may be manufactured upon request.
All rods have right hand threads. Left hand threads can be manufactured if requested.
